A celebration for IEC of Utah on January 29, 2009, saw the
installation of new officers and board members, acknowledged
service given, and presented the IEC of Utah Dee Clark Industry
Leadership Award to Jerry Taylor with Taylor Electric.
With over 100 attending, the evening began with refreshments and
networking. Out-going President Larry Clubb called the meeting
to order and thanked the association for the support given to
him over the last two years. He outlined the programs that
marked his tenure and encouraged members to become involved.
Renee McDonugh, executive director presented outgoing Board
Members Joe Ahlstrom and John Simonsen each with a plaque and
thanked them for their contributions of time and success to IEC.
Both of these will remain involved with John as the new
membership committee chairman and Joe working on that committee.
Renee then presented Larry Clubb with a plaque, recognizing him
for his strong leadership as president and the direction he gave
the association during a significant growing time in IEC’s
history.
