Registration Information

IEC Education of Utah is so excited for you to begin your journey to becoming an electrician! Our apprenticeship program will guide you to learn and master everything you need to get your Journeyman's License. Everything you need to know on how to get started will be found below.
How to Register
Step 1: Register
Click the button below and select the class you need from the list. Fill out and submit the forms.
Step 2: Prerequisites
First year students must demonstrate math competency before enrollment. Click HERE for more information. Transfer students must send transcripts for approval to info@iecofutah.com.
Step 3: Payment
Pay your invoice for books and tuition. (Note: The first invoice you receive will be $0. This is a confirmation invoice only! For fall semester, IEC will process registrations and send invoices beginning July 1st.)
Step 4: Class Access
Upon paying your invoice in full, class access will be available one week before the semester begins. Students will receive an email with credentials and everything needed to log in and get started.
Upcoming Courses
2026 Summer Semester
(1B Offset & 2B Offset ONLY)
Classes extend from May 4 to August 9, generating a 14-week semester.
2026 Fall Semester
(1A, 2A, 3A & 4A ONLY)
Registration opened on April 6 and closes on August 12.
The payment deadline is August 28.
A $0 invoice will be sent upon submitting registration. This invoice is for confirmation purposes only! Invoices with tuition and books will
be sent within 2 business days after all registration steps are complete.
Classes begin the week of August 24 and conclude on December 6.
Late registration will be available from August 19 through August 26.
A late registration fee of $100 will be charged.
2027 Spring Semester
(1B, 2B, 3B & 4B, 1A Offset, 2A Offset)
Registration opens on November 2 and closes December 23.
The payment deadline is January 8.

Classes begin the week of January 4 and conclude on April 18.
Late registration will be available from December 30 through January 6.
A late registration fee of $100 will be charged.

Member Pricing:
Tuition is $420 per semester
Non-Member Pricing:
Tuition is $595 per semester

When filling out registration forms, please be sure your license number is up-to-date and the company you work for is current. You must work for an IEC Contractor Member to get discounted rates. For a full list of our Contractor Members, click HERE.
NOTE FOR ADJUNCT STUDENTS: If you are attending through another IEC Chapter, contact your chapter for payment and book information.
